When I get a car which of these two plates do you think would be better? The actual -Naut part or just not?

-Naut is better imo.
And ermahgerd, are you a NY'er too?!

Yes, yes I am! I just hope by the time I get car if I decide to get personal plate it's still available.

I thought the max limit of characters on a license plate was 7?

Well, now that you've posted it on Oppo it likely won't be. :P

Doesn't mean it won't be taken though.

We can have 8 but 7 if we want the shape of NY in the middle. So ABC(NY outline)1234 or just 8 digits.

IMHO keep the naut

I is sorry but I don't really get it.

the plate basically just got printed upside down, numbers are right side up while the plate is flipped.
On a side note I don't think you can get 8 letters, ergo -not is probably your best bet

Oh okay, and you can get 8 on a personal plate in NY.

if you can get 8 then definitely jump on it

NAUT, for sure.

How did that even happen?

Not a clue. Think whoever was pressing them just put the plate in the wrong way.
I just got temporary plates at the dmv and 2 weeks later they sent me this in the mail, as well as one for the front, which was normal

Awesome. Might actually be worth something some day to a collector (like a mis-stamped coin).

hahah that's what I'm thinking. I'm always afraid I'm going to come out to my car and it'll be gone. Think it's time to invest in some lock nuts
